The first Goodwood breakfast club of the year took place on Sunday 1 August with thousands of eager petrol heads having made early starts to arrive as the gates opened at 7.30am!
High expectations were not disappointed with literally hundreds of classic cars parked in the paddocks and on the stretch of track from the approach to Woodcote Corner right round to Madgwick!
The weather was kind, and the usual enthusiastic and friendly Goodwood atmosphere was evident everywhere. As usual, great advantage was also taken of the excellent breakfast options available.
There was an amazing diversity of classics available to see, many in superb condition. It really was well worth waiting for – a great morning!
