As expected in a previous news item, the Ferrari 250GTO referred to has now been sold and becomes the most expensive Ferrari ever sold at auction. The bidding closed at a hefty $51.7m.!
This car is now the second most expensive car of all time behind the Mercedes Benz 300 SLR Uhlenhaut Coupé, which sold for a staggering $143m!
