The Government having eased the lockdown restrictions, as of 1st June 2020 car showrooms are open again for business.
The Society of Motor Manufacturers (SMMT) and Traders and the National Franchised Dealers Association have worked closely to provide guidelines for dealers to ensure that social distancing can be implemented to allow the re-opening. This will come as a great relief to UK car manufacturers who according to the SMMT have already suffered to the tune of some £8.2m as a result of Covid-19.
